Katy and Matthew: Congratulations on your new brother Nathan.  We can't wait till you bring him to our house.

Kynnedi:  We were so sorry to hear you'd hurt your arm.  We think the best thing is to have Grandma step up the spoiling and you should be healed in no time.

Laura:  I hadn't heard about Kaden's eye injury, I hope it has healed without side effects.

Sad day for Kynnedi

It was a sad day for our little Miss Kynnedi - she broke a bone in her elbow!  They put it in a sling today because it was to swollen to put the cast on yet so it sounds like they have to wait until Wednesday for the cast.  Kelli and JJ were up north at some friends house on Friday and all the kids were playing and Kynnedi fell.   Kelli said she cried for just a little bit and then went back to playing but this morning she said her arm hurt and JJ noticed she wasn't straightening it all the way so they took her to the emergency room for x-rays.  She told me they took a picture of her arm and now she has to were this thing on it!

Nathan Edward Volk

Hi Everyone,
      Well Nathan came home already today. I thought Christy might want to stay in the Hospital another day just for the peace and quiet but since we were all up thier anway she must have figured it was just as easy at home. Audrey is going to stay another day and Cody took off 2 weeks so that will help. The little man is doing well and seems to be a very content baby. The Doctor checked him out today and said he is a normal healthy baby. Here is just a few pictures and I'm sure there will be more to come. Everyone take care and we will see you at the wedding.             Love Papa Morey.

Welcome Nathan

You can all welcome Nathan into the clan. He was 7lbs 13oz. and was born 11:45am. Audrey and I are going to take Matthew and Katie up to meet him in a few hours. I can quarantee Audrey will get plenty of pictures. Will post later.          Love Papa.

March Madness 2012

The standings have been shook up a bit, but Kathy & John are holding on to the top spots. I would like th point out that the Dutkes have 4 of the 5 top five spots currently. Perhaps we need to consider an award for the family that does the best as a whole? Participation of everyone in the family would be necessary otherwise next year we'd consider accidently "losing" Joe's bracket.
