Mother's Day Weekend

Here are a few photos I thought I would share. For mother's day (the day before the last day of my internship) everyone visited the zoo and got to meet the animals. The picture of the boys are on a different camera so I'll upload those later. I told Mary, John and Joe that they are in charge of planning next year's mothers day - we'll have to see if they can top this:) I hope everyone is doing well! I am looking forward to summer now that finals are over and all I have left is senior week events before graduation next weekend.

Make a Memory @ Morey-Camp Run-a-Muck!

I thought it is time that everyone start declaring their intention of attending the Family Reunion. I need the stress of planning.

Some early returns, indicate: Cassie & Nick, Susan & Kevin +3, Cheryl, Jerrett & Arron, Jake, Scott, Kelli, JJ, & Jon, Terry & Audrey, Robbie & Brian, Mary & Dale, Lisa, Regan +3, Kathy & Pat, Todd, Trista & Trae, Tina & Craig, Pat & Frank, Mary, John, Anna & Joe

I know plans change and I may have missed someone who replied, but if we could get an idea of the numbers, it would help.

If anyone has good idea's on how to handle meals, let's start the discussion. I can buy all of the food, if you tell me what items are needed. We have a good assortment and sizes of life Jackets for kids and most adults (and have access to Ricks).
Love to everyone!

9 Months and On the Go!!!

Well, here are some new pictures of Trae who turned 9 months old last Saturday. He has been army crawling for quite some time, but just recently starting crawling. He only goes a couple of feet and then plops back down to his army crawl, but he seems to be getting better at it. It seems that every day we have to put something else up higher because he gets into it. Trae has always loved bathtime and most recently loves the swimming pool. Trista works wednesday nights at the Comfort Inn (so if you need a cheap room she can get it), so Trae and I make our weekly trip up there to swim. School is winding down for Trista and she is currently getting things ready for prom. My busy season is just about to begin, but if we don't get any moisture i may not have to worry much. We hope everyone is enjoying spring and looking forward to summer. We can't wait to see everyone at the lake in August. We might have to celebrate a litte more that weekend being someone I know will be turning 30 the following weekend. Take care and Have a Great Weekend!!!

This is Trae's famous "O" face. He does it a lot even though he's not sure what he's "O"ing at.

Hello Everyone!!!

Trae at the Comfort Inn in his new boat. This is about the only boat we can afford!!!

Trae and his cousin Rylan in Aberdeen, SD last weekend. This was his first bike ride and seemed to enjoy it. . . after the first 15 seconds that is!!!

Trae and his first swing on the swingset. Just like his cousing Kaden, he loved it!!!!

Trae and his uncle Mitchell (Trista's brother), we are not sure what was said.

Trae playing with Rylan's floor puzzle. He was more interested in how it tasted rather than putting it together.

Just reading the manual for my new ride!!!

Playing with my new Tonka trunk that Grandma and Grandpa gave me for Easter!!!

New Family Member

Just had to let everyone know that the Silver's now have a new family member. He is an adorable little baby who cries, sleeps, poop's and eats. :) His name is Bear and we got him on Sunday. He is an Australian Shepherd. We love him lots and think he is pretty darn cute so I just had to share.

Happy Easter Everyone!
Love,
Kelli

We Found Him!!!!

After many hours of searching, we have found proof that the Easter Bunny is near. He was last seen at Target in Bismarck, wandering the isles mumbling, "Dadada, tatatata, dadada". I believe that is rabbit for "Feed me soon". Be prepared for him to visit a home near you soon.

Have a Great Easter Weekend!!!!

Are You Kidding Me?!?!?

This is Trae's reaction when I recently told him that our next president of the United States could possibly be a Black man or a Woman.
Have a Great Week!!!!

Back From Europe

Hey All,

Decided I hadn't posted anything in forever so I had better jump on the band wagon. Unfortunately I don't have any cute baby pictures to post (sorry mom) so I would have to update everyone on our vacation to Europe. JJ and I left on February 12th and came home on the 24th. We had an amazing time and got to see so much. Unbelievably the weather was beautiful and not too cold. We got very lucky!

We flew into London stayed there for a day and a half. We then took a train to Liverpool. JJ was very excited about this stop due to being a huge Beattles fan. Liverpool was a great city and we really enjoyed ourselves as well and all of the Beattles history. We were there one night and the following day and then the following evening we flew to Amsterdam, Netherlands. We spent two night and one full day. Wow what a crazy city. We also spent a day traveling around to all of the spots our family used to spend time in when we lived there. I really enjoyed strolling down memory lane and having the opportunity to share all of that with JJ. We then drove to Brugge, Belgium. What a beautiful town. One night we stayed in a B&B and the next night in a Castle...so fun to feel like royalty. From there we drove to Brussels, Belgium and had enough time to check out the beautiful St. Michael Cathedral before having to catch our train to Paris. I was a little leary for France given the world standings but was surprised with our well we were treated. We spent 2 full days checking out the sites and an additional day doing a day trip to Normandy (D-day beaches). Wow what an amazing thing to see. So moving and unbelieveable. They have built a beautiful visitor center there as well as the American Cemetary. Really puts everything in perspective and thankful for all of our armed forces. Lastly we took the chunnel back to London and spent another day there before catching our flight home.

I am currently putting together a scrapbook and JJ has created a DVD of our pictures with music, subtitles etc. We will plan to bring both with us to the cabin this summer for those of you who are interested. Until then I have attached a couple of pictures we thought you might enjoy.

We hope everyone is well. Keep pictures of all of those beautiful great grand children coming!

All my love,

Kelli xoxoxox

Happy Birthday

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!

I know better then to say the age, but if you're curious you can use the date provided on the right hand side of the page and do the math:)

*Word from the lake: the countertop is in and the stove, sink, dishwasher etc. installed! The cabin is at last becoming fully usable and is ready for visitors!
(pictures to follow on Sunday)

I took this yesterday and thought I would share it. Here's who I get to play with every day and get academic credit... I told John he chose the wrong major in college.

Still Smiling!!!

Here are some new pictures of Trae and the family. He will be 7 months old next tuesday and yes the time sure flies bye. He is still one happy baby and his mom and dad couldnt be luckier. He loves going to daycare and watching the other kids all day long, but he also enjoys fridays when he gets to go to grandma and grandpa's for the morning. In his last check up he measured a little on the smaller side for his age but we still have hope he gets my height.

As for us, Trista is enjoying her classes this year, but not looking forward to the summer when she will be finishing up her masters in Aberdeen, SD. This will be her last summer for classes and then she will just have her internship left. She is hoping to get a counseling position that will be open this coming fall and then she would get paid while doing her hours.

As for me, i have been ungodly busy reffing high school basketball, but i only have about 3 weeks left. I have the boys district 13 tournament in bowman and then the boys region 7 tournament in dickinson. Although i have been gone quite a bit, the money is outstanding and it has allowed us to do some things to the house and go on some trips. Besides that, we just enjoy watching Trae learn more and more each day. It wont be too long and we will have to baby proof the house.

Congrats to Christy and Cody, your new addition sure looks fun. Well here are the pictures and everyone have a great weekend.

These are some of the pictures Cody sent. I'm going down to Bismarck tomorrow to see Kate and to bring Audrey home if I can tear her away from her grandkids. I hope Audrey lets me hold Kate for a little while.

Its a Girl

You can all welcome Kate Elizabeth Volk into the family. She was born 6lbs 9oz at 5am this morning. Her mom was induced at midnight so Kate must have been in a hurry to see the world. Christy is doing fine. I'll get some pictures as soon as possible.

Love Grandpa Morey
