Hi Everyone,
We wanted to say Merry Christmas to everyone and share a few pictures from our Christmas Eve. The house seems to get smaller every year. If you haven't heard, both Christy and Lindsey are expecting in 2012. I told Audrey we will have to eat in shifts like the good old days. I hope you all have a Great Day, remember we love you and miss you all. See you all in May.

Just a little joke to share
Since everyone is all caught up in Tebow time I just had to share this:
So a little boy needed change for a dollar, he walks up to Tim Tebow and asks - do you have change for this dollar? Tebow looks at him and says sure - digs in his pocket and hands the little boy 3 quarters - the little boy looks at them and says but where is the 4th quarter - Tim Tebow answers The 4th quarter is mine!
Everyone have a great Sunday
Love to all

This one is for Todd
When I read Todd's christmas letter I thought I needed to share our favorite card this year. This is Robyn's nephew. Be sure to read what the card says double click on it to make it larger.

Update!
For those of you who attended a Twins game this past summer and saw this building under renovation, I thought you might enjoy this article.
Frank's boss passed away suddenly on Thanksgiving weekend. Frank is now President and CEO of United Properties. So things are busy here. We are not ready for the holidays, but will get there. Our plan is to spend the week between Christmas and New Years at the lake. We are all doing fine.
Love to all,

As St. Paul's Ford plant prepares to close, its predecessor in Minneapolis, rebuilt as a business complex, is getting ready to open.
hide
Rich Bonnin of HGA Architecture passed through the atrium of the renovated Ford Center near Target Field. The first of three companies will move in next week.
While much attention has been showered on the soon-to-be shuttered Ford plant in St. Paul, a multimillion-dollar renovation project tied to the automaker's past has been quietly taking shape in Minneapolis, and is now near completion.
An 11-story brick building formerly known as Ford Centre on N. 5th Street has undergone a $40-million-plus makeover that speaks to Ford Motor Co.'s storied past in Minnesota.
The 270,000-square-foot structure overlooks Target Field and was once an assembly plant for Model Ts. It will soon be home to HGA Architects and Engineers, the creative agency Olson, and luxury cleaning products maker Caldrea under the new moniker Ford Center. HGA will start moving in next week, with Olson and others following early next year.
The bones of the 99-year-old building were largely intact when the project began, including five elevators that were crucial to the vertical manufacturing production method common in the early part of the 20th century, said Richard Bonnin, associate vice president-architecture for HGA. But over the years, the finer details that hinted of the building's past as an auto assembly plant and showroom had mostly been stripped away. Some research, imagination and elbow grease were required to restore them.
"Our goal was to retain the Ford Center's industrial aesthetic while creating a creative and complex new workplace to do our best work," Bonnin said.
Ford only used the building for 11 years, before departing for the greener pastures of St. Paul in 1925. Since then, the Minneapolis building, now on the National Register of Historic Places, has housed Honeywell thermostat manufacturing operations, offices and artists' lofts.
Minneapolis developer Schafer Richardson purchased the property in 1997 with plans to build condominiums, but those plans fell through. Bloomington-based United Properties bought the building for $12.7 million in 2008.
Two years later, Target Field opened, and the neighborhood bloomed as more commercial and residential projects followed the ballpark's lead. The addition of Olson to the area complements the move of other creative agencies, including Colle+McVoy and Carmichael Lynch -- creating a kind of mini Madison Avenue on the western edge of downtown. All are served by the nearby Hiawatha light rail and Northstar commuter rail lines.
In recent weeks, a legion of construction workers put the finishing touches on Ford Center's painstaking renovation, which includes a striking new two-story atrium entrance and staircase from the street level to the main concourse of the building. The lobby features 20-foot-high ceilings, aged raw-steel finishes, terrazzo floors, maple ceiling panels and large panels of historic images. Space has also been set aside for a restaurant, although a tenant has not been named.
"The challenge was that, before, you walked out of the basement level, so we needed to create a new entry," said John Saunders, of United Properties, the project's owner and investor, on a recent tour.
At least 350 Olson employees will occupy 4 1/2 floors, or 125,000 square feet, beginning next week, while HGA's 330 employees will assume 84,000 square feet, or three floors, early next year. Caldrea will occupy 27,000 square feet on the fifth floor. The building is currently 88 percent leased.
HGA's space on the main level encompasses what once was Ford's Model T retail showroom, complete with 19-foot-tall windows. Detail from original plaster columns was restored, or in some cases, replicated, in the portion of the building that was once open to the public.
One of the biggest pieces of the renovation involved restoring 700 of the 1,000 distinctive checkerboard windows throughout the building, as well as replacing five freight elevators with six modern lifts. A fitness center for building tenants now occupies space where Model Ts were loaded onto railcars. And a parking garage with 78 indoor bike racks replaced eight loading docks.
RJM Construction, the main contractor, said about 500 construction jobs were created for work on the core of the structure and shell, with an additional 500 jobs created for tenant improvements and renovations.
Some Twin Cities residents may find it surprising that Ford's operations in Minnesota began in Minneapolis -- the company's first plant opened in 1912 out of a converted warehouse at 616 S. 3rd St.
The 5th Street site, purchased by Ford for $50,000, was one of at least a dozen sites built nationwide under the direction of the company's architect at the time, John Graham, according to Brian McMahon, a local historian who is writing a book on Ford's tenure in Minnesota.
They share similar "stylistic motifs," as McMahon put it, although the 5th Street plant was, at the time, probably the tallest structure ever built to manufacture cars.

Happy Thanksgiving - just a little late!
Hi and I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! I started posting Thanksgiving morning at 6:30 AM and kept getting interrupted so here it is Saturday morning and I decided I should finish. We had a great day here, we all went up to JJ's sisters house, had great food and of course ate way to much and then all went bowling which was alot of fun! It was Kynnedi's first time and she loved it! Then Kelli convinced me that midnight shopping would be a great idea - it was crazy so by 2:30 AM I was done. We did buy a few things but of course all the special items were gone before we even got in the store.
I miss you all!

Halloween and a little more
Sorry about being a little behind but i am finally getting a little time to post some pictures. We didnt get a whole lot from Halloween but as you can see we had a horse and a flower. Tatum was not quite sure what to think about it all, but as always enjoyed the candy. Trae likes halloween, however, he was scared to go door to door cuz he was afraid they might have dogs. So all in all i would say halloween is not one of our favorite holidays yet.
Some of you may have heard already, but on Veterans Day Trista went to the park with the kids. She had Tatum on her lap to go down the slide and Trae was behind. On their way down Tatums foot got caught under Trista and twisted a little bit. I was on my way back from Fargo, so she took her to the clinic and they deteremined she had a spiral fracture of the tibia. We then took her to an orthopedic doctor thinking she would need a cast but he said it would not be necessary. Due to her age, she heals so fast that it would heal before a cast would do any good. We go back this Wednesday for a check up and hopefully they will tell us it is healed and she can walk on it again. Lets just say this was harder on us than her, she has been a trooper the whole time.
Well we hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving and look forward to seeing any family that comes back this winter.
Todd
Our horse, flower and our niece (Tristas sisters daughter) Bryton
Getting ready to head out and trick-or-treat
Waiting in the orthopedic doctors office and Tatum was bored so she wanted to wear dad's safety glasses
Showing off her splint they put her in, this is also her "cheese" face
Trae wanted a picture taken too, but would not smile for it
Had to throw this in. Can you tell which one is which?? pretty scary, this one is Tatum
This is Trae
Some of you saw this on facebook, but here is Traes farm we set up the other day. Its a little extreme and yes that is an exotic animal exhibit to the north!!

Settling In
Hey everyone,
Sorry I haven't posted anything in awhile. Our last couple of months have been crazy to say the least. We moved into our new house the last weekend of July - we are absolutely loving it and slowly but surely trying to fill it up with stuff. :) We have lots of extra space and live about 3 to 4 minutes from my mom so please feel free to plan a trip out this way - we would love the company.

Some new photos...
Hi Everybody,
Here are a few photos from our family:
Here are a few photos from our family:
First day of school.
Celebrating Matthew's birthday at a little amusement park in Bismarck.
Katie and our dog Bailey. (Poor Bailey...Zoey, this is why you must keep your guard up with Katie - so you don't end up like this!)
Matthew doing his idea of shoveling. More like beating the ground.
Enjoying the Fall riding our horses.
Decorating pumpkins from our garden.
Our carved pumpkins.
Happy Halloween! Matthew is a power ranger for the third year in a row and Katie is Snow White. All she cared about was that her dress was yellow.
Our girly girl (not so much). Katie reminds me of the fighting princesses in one of the Shrek movies.
Hope you all are doing well. We are good here. I'm just enjoying every day this Fall without the snow. Sorry to rub that in Jake. You guys are definitely getting plenty already down there. For Joe's sake, I'm hoping for snow but just in his neck of the woods. Lee and Shantelle, what a cute little skunk you have. That's an adorable costume! I have to admit I'm not much of a facebook user but Cody is and will usually let me know if there's pictures from the cousins out there. So for those of you who are like me, you may want to look into a facebook account to see more pictures of all the little ones. I enjoyed seeing them all. Very cute! Everybody is getting so big! Take care everybody and have a good holiday season.
Love,
Christy

Hope everyone had a Happy Halloween. At Aunt Jake's request I wanted to post pictures of Rhett's first Halloween. We had a good time taking him around the neighborhood. He wasn't really sure what to think but realized it wasn't to bad when he saw the neighbor boy Charlie, who is two days younger, dressed as a shark. The two of them laughed at each other all night. Hope everyone is doing well. If your in Fargo, look us up.

Just checking in!!
Good morning - I just had to say Hi to everyone and see who is out there on the blog? It has been way to quiet! Patti posted a couple pictures of our trip to Lambeau Field and I'm not sure if anyone even saw them? We had a great time, yes the Bronco's lost but we were pretty sure that would happen when we bought the tickets! Last minute road trips can be alot of fun and we can always say we were there!
Halloween is only a few days away and I know that all of you will be taking lots of pictures so I am hoping that someone will see this and post some pictures for all of us to see! I can't wait to see what all the kids look like all dressed up! Everyone have fun and be safe! I'll be watching for all the cute ghost and goblin pictures.
Love to all

End of Summer Update
While we were printing photos for my mom to take to South Dakota, we were reminded that everyone still needs to upload their photos to http://www.yogile.com/moreyfamily. We'll be using them to create a special book - so do try to upload your photos soon!!!
Also, Cody, Christy, Matthew, Katie, Terry, and Audrey did make a visit to the cabin this year. As you can see below, everyone had a wonderful time. And yes my parents need to be grandparents. But I think I can speak for my siblings in saying we are all grateful they get to share everyone else's grandkids for the time being:) Christy and Audrey - We'll be sending you guys a CD with the rest of the pictures - don't worry!
And finally, some final pictures of the stars of the show I did this summer. As the Moreys and Fishers know, they were a handful and managed to make my coworkers and me look like fools on a daily basis. But they did provide entertainment regardless of the destruction, so I'll call it a success.
Hopefully everyone had a great summer & good luck to everyone who has headed back to school!
Don't forget to post pictures from the reunion & an update on here would be nice too:)

Chasing after & freeing the ducks happened regularly
Towels were pretty much the only thing that kept her occupied and away from destroying our props during the show.
Pretty typical - why not scratch your butt while hundreds of people watched?
It was way easier to get them to paint than to get them to walk some-what decently in public (our only definition of decent was to not plow over visitors. Somewhat decent was to at least stop right before following through with the act of doing so. No they never managed to plow into anyone but yes they managed to make kids cry who feared they would.)
Hopefully everyone had a great summer & good luck to everyone who has headed back to school!

YOU CAN'T MAKE THIS UP!
I thought you might enjoy this, especially Matthew who is Nelli's best friend. Last night, we had another (of many) storms. Nelli headed for the basement, and when Anna went to look for her, found her sitting in the basement shower. As the evening and storm progressed, she collected her favorite toys and a couple of Zoey's and moved them to safety.

Independence Day Update
I hope everyone had a wonderful 4th of July!
We had a good 4th of July with everyone being able to make it up to the cabin for some portion of it. The weekend started off pretty eventful though with a huge storm on Friday night. John had headed home to work that evening and ended up driving through majority of it. Luckily he made it through & was able to call and warn Joe & I to get everything secure and head for shelter. Shortly after his call and a phone call from my mom with the same warning, storm clouds began rolling in fast. By the time we got the boats on the lifts and the water sport gear inside the blue sky had turned a dark shade of green. Within minutes of getting up to the cabin the power went out & strong winds started (they were strong enough to nearly knock Joe off his feet while trying to make it back to the guest cabin where his friend was) so we headed for the basement where we hung out from 7:30 until about 10:30 when the second wave of the storm blew over. The next day on our way home we saw the damage - several tornadoes had came through the area, with a few small ones in areas around the cabin. Fortunate for us, our cabin & property escaped without any damage and were one of the first areas to regain power mid-morning on Saturday.

Great Pictures
Well as soon as I can get Kelli to help me I will add my pictures - but I think Kyle, Caden and Jordan win for the best wrestling tag team - Peyton didn't have a chance! Also I think we have found the next NFL rookie quarterback - Kelli shows real potential! (#8555 & 8557). I will keep checking for everyone else's photos!

Quick Update from Colorado
Hey Everyone - I decided I needed to post some new pictures. Everyone here in Colorado is doing well and keeping very busy between work and fun. My mom seems to like her new job, but I don't think she enjoys the commute. :(
JJ and I have both been very busy between work and the house. The good news is that we are in the final stages - we are all very excited that we will be living there in a couple of months and finally able to enjoy all of Scott's hard work. :) We all know that Kynnedi and the dogs are going to absolutely love not living in the apartment anymore - woohoo!
We have all been enjoying summer so far. We went camping and fishing on Memorial Weekend and we are heading to Wyoming this coming weekend for a weekend of camping and boating.

Golf Anyone?
Just checking to see who would all be interested in playing some golf on the Friday of the reunion. Nick asked about going out to Bully Pullpit in Medora but it is flooded and doesnt look good for being open. Therefore, we are currently planning on playing here in Dickinson at Heart River. If anyone is interested in joining us just post on here or text me so i know how many tee times to get. Also let me know what time works best for everyone.

If anyone is still in need of a room for the reunion in a few weeks, you must do so by tonight. The hotel has asked that we reserve what we need so they can open the rest up. There are still 3 rooms reserved under our block so if you need one make sure you call tonight. They are reserved at the Quality Inn and the phone number is 701-225-9510. Can't wait to see everyone in 24 days!!!!

Update from Howard
I talked to both Joyce Johnston and Bob Remacle this evening. Lucile is not doing very well. She is now in the Nursing Home in Howard. She is paralyzed on her left side, has very little vision, and is on a feeding tube. Joyce said at times she is responsive to the conversation and still shows some humor. The doctors say it is hard to know what the future will bring. Bob says Mary is doing fine. He took her up to see Lucile this week, and one of the first things Mary said to Lucile was that her hair was finally its natural color, Lucile replied yes, Grey! I told Joyce to tell Lucile we are all thinking of her. Keep her in your prayers.

Tornado Missed Us
Just wanted everyone to know that the tornado was not in our area. Anna was working at the Zoo, She spent an hour in the basement with a birthday party group. They had to get everyone in the Zoo to shelter. I have to admit that I hadn't even heard it hit until Anna came home. I was amazed, when I finally watched the late news and saw the distruction.

From Minnesota
Jake is right, the blog has been too quiet, and we all know I'm usually not the quiet type. As the rest of you, we have all been busy here. With the cold (yet to come) Spring, we are behind in getting the cabin ready for the season. The new pontoon is in the water, "Mom's Dinghy" is parked waiting to be cleaned and launched, and the Ski boat needs to be picked up from storage.
Way Too Quiet!
Hello to everyone! I know everyone is busy, and I am just as guilty, but it has been way too quiet on this blog - is anyone out there!! If it wasn't for Kevin keeping us informed on the Moberg family, we wouldn't know anything!

Just an update
Hello everyone,
First of all I want to tell Susan and Abigail that you are in our thoughts and prayers. Braxton also suffers from migrane headaches.
Second, I mentioned that I would let everyone know when Landon got engaged --- well it FINALLY happened over Easter:) They have not set a date but are thinking it will be late next summer. So keep your calendars open as it will be fun to have a reason to get together again next summer!
We are excited to see everyone in June.
Love to all,
Laura

Abigail Update
Abigail is fine tonight, but she had another "incident" at school today. I won't go into all the details; however, it was very similar to what happened last time, and we ended up in the ER again. The neurologist warned us that it was likely to happen again, so it wasn't a shock...just a disappointment, since we were really hoping and praying that it was a one-time situation.

Marly Sue Bourdon
Hello family!
Finally getting around to posting some pictures. Marly Sue was born Sunday, Apr. 3rd. She weighed in at a whopping 9 lbs. 9 oz. and measured 20 3/4". Still not sure how she got so darn big. I'm just happy she's here and I'm not pregnant anymore!

Sharing a cute story!
Saturday night, Frank and I watched the Wisconsin Game in a bar with some Wisconsinites. As you know, it was a close, exciting, game. Towards the end of the game one guy looked at us and said, "This is the beauty of living in Minnesota. You never have to experience this kind of stress"!.

Story for Todd
I thought of you when I read this letter to the editor in the Mpls Tribune.
A high school basketball ref wrote that, at a game the past weekend, a fan was getting loud and obnoxious. He went over and told the fan that if he wanted to be loud, do it to cheer on his team and to get off the ref's back. After the game, one of the coaches came up to him and thanked him for finally getting the school superintendent to shut up.

NCAA Pool is Set Up
Okay, everyone, the pool is set up through Yahoo.com again. Those who were in last year should have gotten an email and a link to follow to get to it. Those who were not in last year must have or create a Yahoo! account and then to Yahoo! sports and find the NCAA bracket pool link. When you get there, choose to join a private pool, and this is the info you will need:

Smith News.....
Well I have to agree with Uncle Terry and Laura, we are ready for winter to be over. Even though that will mean the annual Spring Flooding we get to deal with in Fargo, I think we are ready for it.
Since Laura brought everyone up to speed on what has been going on, I thought I would add a few more pictures of Rhett:

Smith Update
Hello Everyone,
First of all, I agree with uncle Terry -- I am damm tired of winter too!!!!
It is naptime at my house, and all three--or I should say four (Dad)--are down for a nap, so I am going to make this short and sweet. I figured the pictures are the most important part anyway -- most of them are from Christmas.

Abigail and the Neurologist
Kevin and I took Abigail to Bismarck today to see Dr. Siriwan, the pediatric neurologist – roads were perfect, sun was shining, Abigail was singing and talking to herself. In some people that’s a sign of senility…in Abigail, it is a sign of “normal.” :-) We got to the clinic exactly when we were supposed to, got checked in and filled out all of the paperwork, and got called back to an exam room at the exact time of our scheduled appointment. I appreciate punctuality in doctors!
Dr. Siriwan was nice. Here's one thing we now know:

Update from Minnesota
Winter seems to be lasting forever here in Minnesota. Today we actually got snow for the first time in several weeks, which is good as it means it is warm enough to snow, but bad in that we are still trying to remove the snow from the earlier snowfalls.

Calling all family members!
I have an idea - I think everyone will agree that the blog has become way to quiet! I am calling on all family members to humor me and agree that someone from each family, once a week, will post something on the blog. So that means once every six weeks your family will have a turn. It can be anything but of course I love to see pictures and maybe, before our turn, I will even learn how to post them! Since Todd just posted the other day we will start with the Fishers - so next will be the Dutke's, then Morey's, Smith's, Koppinger's and then Gustafson's. I know there is lots of things happening and lots of pictures taken that we can share!
Since Patti started the idea of trivia I have a question - When did Grandma get Boomer? Just trying to see who has the best memory!
Love to all
Jake

A Few Pics
Hey everyone, I've been meaning to post pictures for awhile now but keep forgeting. There are a lot more but this is what i had on my phone so I thought I would put them on for now. Tatum is growing fast and is measuring at or off of most of the charts. It's hard to believe 5 months has passed already, but its also hard to believe Trae is 3.5 already too. Trae is enjoying being a big brother and is anxiously awaiting when Tatum can play with him. We are looking forward to the snow melting and then the reunion to see you all. We hope you have a great rest of the week and stay warm!!!
